Ethiopia is a country that desperately needs our help! This is a place where 1 in 5 children die before age 5 mainly because of contaminated drinking water. As we Trek to Ethiopia this summer, we are going to provide funds to the city of Gondor for a water purification system. This will save countless lives in the years to come.

Project Africa is working to help support one orphanage in each of Africa’s 57 countries on a consistent, monthly basis.

Every year, 3,000,000 children lose one or both of their parents to AIDS. In Africa, AIDS is generating orphans so quickly that family structures can no longer cope. We can’t and won’t stand by and do nothing. We are partnering with an orphanage in each of these desperate countries who will be applying 100% of our support to the on-site needs and diligent work being done in each area.

Worldchild needs your help to help meet this great need. Our commitment is not a one-time "shot in the arm." We are looking to budget funds on a consistent, continuous monthly basis. Our monthly worldchild sponsor program is so very important and a necessary part of our ongoing projects.

Video update from Cambodia

Worldchild was thrilled to trek to Cambodia to be "Jesus with skin on" to the forgotten children of that region. Their need is great and we were compelled to help.

worldchild delivered help and hope—and made an eternal impact on the lives of these desperate children.

During our 2006 trek to Cambodia we:

Provided funds to a Christian school for a van to bring in street children.
Donated uniforms, clothing, and food to an orphanage in Komphongcham.
Gave each of the street children a new uniform for school and rice to each families of the street children.
Poured the tangible love of Jesus into the lives of hundreds of disadvantaged children.
Purchased bicycles for the orphans and books to create a small library for the children at the orphanage.

One Cambodian pastor said, "Pastor Sarah, thank you very much for your help and support of our children. We strongly believe that you were sent by God to bless Cambodia."

Worldchild touched the physical, emotional, spiritual, and eternal needs of these children in a way that they will remember forever.
